Short CV
Nikos Pappas graduated in 1995 from the Electronics & Computer Engineering Department of the Technical University of Crete. He received an MSc. degree in Computer Engineering from the Electronics & Computer Engineering Department of the Technical University of Crete in 1999. He joined TUC/MUSIC in 1995 as a researcher and since 2002 he belongs to it's permanent personnel. He has worked in many R&D EU projects and he was involved in the technical coordination and development of various projects including scalable video stream servers, digital TV platforms and digital business service oriented systems. He is the technical coordinator of the MOLE project of TUC/MUSIC that aims to deliver an integrated multimedia e-learning platform. His research interests include Modern information distributed systems, Database management systems, Multimedia content management and delivery systems.
