Chrisa Tsinaraki received the diploma degree in 1995, the MEng degree in 2000 and the PhD degree in 2008, all in computer engineering from the Technical University of Crete. She is now a postdoc researcher and visiting lecturer in the department of Electronic & Computer Engineering of the Technical University of Crete. She has been working as a researcher at the Technical University of Crete/Laboratory of Distributed Multimedia Information Systems and Applications (TUC/MUSIC), and has been involved in many European R&D projects. Her research focus is on interoperability support for multimedia content services, based on MPEG-7/21 and ontologies.
